The Ridgeback addiction started with the great Buthelezi (Bhutu). He was the Ridgeback of my
family at home. His father was Milton, son of Vumba and mother Dyiba, daughter of Foldsworth Tembani.

About the breeding:

The Rhodesian Ridgeback was originally bred for hunting lions in particulary, with a great speed and endurence.

Our goal is to breed a Rhodesian Ridgeback that is healthy with a good character and should be able to function in their original task. That is why we make a great effort to find matching bloodlines that can lead us back to the original African type, in exterior as well as function.

We are carefull in choosing the sire of our litter. He must have a suitable pedigree, a good character and be supplementary for our girls.

The pups will grow up in our livingroom and when the weather is good they will go out in the garden. 
They will be also dewormed, have their vaccinations, pedigrees and litter control of our Ridgeback Club.
Socialisation is very inportant for the pups to become a very steady and sound dog. We will try to go to all kind of places and give a lot of new experiences to the puppies before they leave to their new families.
The new owners will get a lot of information about raising a puppy like, feeding, socialisation, health checks, training etc.
Most important is that their are go to good homes, that the new owners knows what kind of breed they have brought to their homes and knows what the specific needs are of the ridgeback.
The new owners can count on us at all times, to answer their questions, to solve problems if there are some and to give advise whenever needed.
We prefer to meet the new puppy owners before the pups are born, so they can meet Mbiti and if there are questions about breeding, the breed etc. we can answer them.
